About Kayla
Kayla is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Tarleton State University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Amberton University.
Kayla became a therapist because she believes deeply in the power of human connection. Her goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She values the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing, growth, and lasting change.
Outside of her work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and beloved dog. She loves discovering new coffee shops, reading, and working out. For Kayla, meaningful connections—both in and out of the therapy room—are what bring joy and purpose to life.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” — Carl Rogers
