Insurance Accepted

Allison Counseling, PLLC currently accepts the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • UMR

  • UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

Insurance plans and coverage can change. Please contact your insurance provider to verify your specific benefits, coverage, deductible, copayment, coinsurance, and any authorization requirements before beginning services.

Appointments & Cancellations

Please cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

A cancellation fee of $95 will be charged when a cancellation is received less than 24 hours in advance.

A rescheduled session will be subject to the full session fee of $160 if the cancellation or rescheduling request is not received at least 24 hours in advance.

This policy is necessary because appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client.

If you arrive late for a session, some of your scheduled session time may be lost.

The standard psychotherapy session is 53 minutes. Clients may request a different session length; however, changes to the standard session length must be discussed with the therapist in advance so that appropriate time can be scheduled.

If more than three consecutive appointments are missed, a recurring appointment time may be cancelled.

Returned Checks

A $25 service charge will be charged for checks returned for any reason requiring special handling.
